Dan and Aimee’s

Wedding

I was thrilled to be a part of Dan and Aimee’s big day! It was a really quick planning effort with 6 months from her engagement to the wedding day but we were able to pull off an amazing wedding and reception with the help of Gethsemane Lutheran Church and 612 North as her reception venue! Her colors included a bright purple along with accents of gray, white, and green with flowers courtesy of Lesher’s Flowers! The 200+ guests enjoyed a delicious seated dinner featuring grilled chicken followed by an ice cream bar and dessert table. They lit up the dance floor with a super fun DJ and took some great party pics in the photo booth! Guests left the reception with amazing memories of Dan and Aimee’s wedding day and took home some his and hers party favors of mini bottles of Malibu, Captain, and Jack Daniels. The whole day was so memorable for all involved and I was so pleased that the day turned out the way she dreamt it would!

Kevin and Nicki’s

Wedding

I started planning with Nicki right after she had booked The Abbey in Columbia, IL where she would not only have her reception but also get married. The Abbey had just opened for events and Kevin and Nicki were one of the first to flip the venue space from ceremony to reception! She had a lovely September day to celebrate with 150+ guests! Their colors included navy, pink, and silver which looked beautiful in The Abbey’s neutral space and was transformed from wedding to reception in about an hour while guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers in the courtyard. Kevin and Nicki’s special touches included 3 buffet stations featuring BBQ, Chinese Food, and Mexican food courtesy of Russo’s. Guests enjoyed donuts and cake for dessert and danced away the night with a Rockin’ DJ Jimmy Hussey! Everyone involved took home tons of memories as well as mini bottles of liquor courtesy of a local distillery, Stumpy’s. Kevin and Nicki’s wedding was such a beautiful beginning to their marriage and I was so blessed to be a part of it!

Danielle and Joe’s

wedding

Danielle and Joe contacted CS for Day of Coordination 3 weeks prior to their wedding date! Danielle had done all of the planning herself and had done an amazing job but just needed some extra help organizing her large bridal party and assistance with oversight and management of her ceremony. All of her vendors were amazing with some of the most beautiful florals from Roses and Mint and a super accommodating ceremony venue space, Slate, and reception space, Willow, located down the street from each other in downtown St. Louis. It was a perfect ceremony with Danielle’s uncle presiding and a super fun reception to follow complete with a taco bar for dinner! I was so blessed to be a part of Joe and Danielle’s day and wish them nothing but a amazing life together!

NicoLe and Derek’s

Wedding

I had the distinct pleasure and challenge of full planning for Nicole and Derek’s wedding and reception in Charleston, South Carolina. The ceremony site was a beautiful historical church complete with wooden pew doors and the reception venue none other than the iconic Boone Plantation Cotton Dock. The beauty of the setting paled only in comparison to this charming couple who added special touches to their day including serving communion at the ceremony, treating their guests to local desserts and local craft brewed beer, gifting all guests with local coffee beans, and ending the night with a confetti sendoff! Their amazing friends provided the decor which was brought all the way from Iowa including all of the China! Photo credits to an amazing photographer, Lauren Berry Wedding Photography in Charleston, SC! So blessed to be a part of this gorgeous day! Can’t wait to watch their marriage unfold!

Mallory and steve’s

wedding

Mallory and Steve were especially close to my heart as I had the pleasure of coaching Mallory as a high school cheerleader and my husband had the pleasure of coaching Steve as a high school basketball player! Fast forward a lot of years and I received the honor of coordinating their wedding! They are a super organized couple and definitely work as a team! Mallory loved the structure of a timeline (as most brides do) and had her bridal party following suit with an emailed timeline to keep everyone informed and on time! They were married in a beautiful Catholic church with an excellent priest presiding their full Catholic mass. The large reception followed at The Cedars in downtown St. Louis. Mallory and her mom designed and set-up her centerpieces including red roses and gold, white, and black accents which were very striking along with the beautiful tall ceilings and gorgeous chandeliers! Guests enjoyed a dinner buffet along with a very large dessert buffet including a huge variety of yummy treats which was clearly loved by everyone (as it disappeared in minutes)! Mallory and Steve danced the night away with all of their closest friends and family thanks to Over The Top DJ and spent some time goofing around in the photo booth provided by Rhonda Favor Studios! All in all, it was a super fun event and a night to remember! So blessed to be a part of it!

kapau and chris’s

wedding

We can never predict where life is going to take us next and who along the way will be a part of it! This is how I felt after I was approached by a good friend from high school in late winter about assisting her with her brother’s wedding which, of course, I said yes! So began quite an adventure of full wedding planning which I am forever grateful to have been a part of! This wedding brought together a couple, family, and friends from around the globe. Planning took place via facetime chats from Thailand, California, and St. Louis along with loads of emails and texts with many hour differentials between us. Planning meetings with the bride, groom, and the main planner (my friend, Margaret) took place only twice prior to their wedding as these world wide travelers were super busy! The result was a heart warming wedding/reception shared by guests from 13 countries with some of the most personal touches of any wedding I have done yet. The ceremony was eloquently performed by the groom’s father, Pastor Rall, and included readings in Thai and English along with a program also written in both languages. 30+ gorgeous pew bouquets courtesy of Soulard Florist accompanied a beautiful bride down the aisle with a bridal party decked out in full tuxes and blush dresses. The reception to follow at The Visitors Center in Forest Park was decorated in a pretty yet rustic theme and included laser cut names for each guest at their individual place settings, a message in a bottle guest book, and seated dinner accompanied by mango sticky rice for dessert. Probably the most memorable part of the evening… the toasts. Some of the most heartwarming, well-spoken, and heartfelt toasts I have ever heard. Guests danced the night away to a rockin’ band and memories that will be remembered for a lifetime were made! So grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it! Credit to Fossil Photography for some amazing images!

Katie and matt’s

wedding

Katie approached me a couple months prior to her November wedding looking for some help with Day of Coordinating and I was super excited to help her and Matt get everything ready for their big day! She had all of her vendors booked and her centerpieces figured out but just needed some help with a master timeline and mostly coordinating their ceremony which took place at the beautiful Jewel Box in Forest Park! Katie and Matt and the photographer, Elizabeth Miller, enjoyed a first look earlier in the day followed by an afternoon with their bridal party on a party bus sneaking pics around St. Louis! They arrived in perfect timing for some more quick pics outside just before the 4:30 ceremony at the Jewel Box. If you have never been to the Jewel Box, it is beautiful and doesn’t require much else besides some AV equipment and a ceremony DJ! A touching and perfect ceremony was followed by a few more pics before the reception at The Christy in the Bevo Mill area of St. Louis! Guests partied to some great tunes by the DJ and enjoyed a dinner buffet as well as ending the night with donuts and cake! This couple was super cute together and very laid back enjoying all of their family and friends and all of their time together that day! So appreciative they put their trust in me to help them coordinate their big day!

Melanie and Adam’s

Wedding

Melanie hired me a full year in advance of her wedding! She was super organized and very on top of her simple but sweet ceremony and very modern and pretty reception at Forest Park Golf Club! Melanie looked gorgeous and her bridesmaids beautiful in their blush floor length dresses. The guys were super sharp in classic black tuxes. This decor reminded me that simple is beautiful and sometimes all you need is some greenery and candles courtesy of Rouge Events and I certainly can’t forget to mention the gorgeous bouquets. The ceremony officiated by Cherie Wegener brought me to tears but David Moss (DJ) and Abby and her sidekick from Abigail Derrick photography kept me smiling all night long with their talented eyes and awesome personalities-all photo credit goes to this amazing duo! My favorite from this wedding were the dances… the dances, you may ask? I have never been so touched by not only the first dance but the mother/son and father/daughter dances before. Maybe it was because in the midst of a pandemic it’s important to remember that love always wins. Not sure if it was their Mizzou roots or their love of all things Cardinals and Chiefs but this was a couple I won’t soon forget!

Liz and Alex’s

Wedding

This wedding was definitely one of the most unique weddings I have been priviledged to be a part of! From one of the most picturesque ceremony settings I have laid eyes on, to the most adorable alpaca and llama theme which included a real llama and alpaca at the reception, I loved Liz and Alex’s vision and was so thankful I could be a part of it! The ceremony venue, Renaissance Wine Garden, offers a Wedding in the Woods and I guarantee you will never seen anything like it! However, it paled in comparison to Liz, the beautiful bride, her wedding party, and the flower girl (who is also one of my favorites)! This flower girl took her job seriously and so adorably threw her petals in the air as she came down the aisle. I will honestly never forget it! Liz and Alex’s wedding was officiated by Jerome at Hearts2Gether4Ever who did an amazing job and even included a hand fasting which was a first for me and I loved it! Photography (and all photo credit) was courtesy of Christina Black Tie Weddings and Events and these photos are certainly to die for! Following this gorgeous ceremony, guests traveled to Good News Brewing for a super fun indoor/outdoor space complete with a Polaroid guest book for guests to take pics with the llama and alpaca and a pizza buffet! Shout out to Ayla’s floral for gorgeous florals in amber vases for the centerpieces, an amazing bouquet, and super fun floral hoops! Guests enjoyed a really scrumptious cake courtesy of Made.by Lia… make sure to check out the cake topper! The staff at Good News was so great and easy to work with! They have an awesome space and I can’t wait to go back! My favorite part of this wedding was Liz and Alex! They had a unique vision and went for it and it will be a wedding/reception that their family and friends talk about for years to come! So thankful to say I was a part of it!

brandi and bradley’s

wedding

Brandi and Bradley had planned for a ceremony and reception at The Abbey in Columbia, IL for October 2020 but, due to the pandemic, that plan quickly changed as Illinois venues were shut down. However, sometimes adversity turns into opportunity. Brandi and Bradley were determined to become husband and wife and completely changed their plans to a ceremony only at the most beautiful Old Baum church in Waterloo, IL. This church is a historical site and has been around since the 1800s. It has no roof, no doors, and no windows but makes for a most memorable outdoor ceremony site with wooden benches brought in for pews and a bagpiper for processional/recessional music. Brandi and Bradley took on the challenge of COVID and reduced their in person guest list drastically but live streamed the ceremony thanks to Arndt photography/videography for all of their virtual guests! Photo credit of Arndt Photography. The cermony was conducted by Bradley’s dad and was extremely touching including a hand fasting ceremony! Guests enjoyed a champagne toast and cupcakes following the ceremony! Brandi and Bradley were so awesome to work with as they remained super calm, super organized, and super focused on getting married! I can’t wait to work with them again to plan their reception next October and feel extremely blessed that I was a part of their amazing journey to become Mr. and Mrs. !!

Part Two: Brandi and Bradley waited so patiently to hold their reception exactly one year after their ceremony, due to COVID. The Abbey in Columbia was the perfect spot for their October 30th celebration which included multiple yummy food stations courtesy of Russo’s! The photographer and videographer team from Arndt Photography were back again to capture all of the sweet moments from this anticipated reception and DJ Connections kept the dance floor rocking all night. Brandi opted for a King’s Table for her head table complete with black tablecloths, laser cut wooden name cards, floating candles, and a beautiful garland which was absolutely striking against the white linen topped guest tables. The cake, provided by Russo’s was just as tasty as it was beautiful! This reception finally capped off what had been multiple years of planning this wedding and couldn’t have gone any better! So grateful I could help this couple pull off two amazing days full of lots of sweet memories for years to come!

Destinee and Adam’s

wedding

This couple will be etched in my mind and heart forever. We started planning their 200+ wedding/reception for May 2020 which was then rescheduled and reduced by more than half of the guest count for October. It was then moved from the original ceremony and reception venue to an alternate but special small country church in Illinois, Haley Chapel, which included some family history and the reception venue, Blind Society, a restaurant in town. In the midst of the planning process, Destinee and Adam encountered other difficult challenges, but they pressed on. The calmness and positivity of this couple inspired me with every meeting. She was an absolutely stunning bride in her long sleeved lace gown with a beautiful train accompanied by Adam and the guys in gray/navy suits and her girls in gorgeous coral and navy dresses with my favorite…denim jackets! The fall bouquets were jaw dropping courtesy of Turning Leaf. Destinee and Adams’s ceremony was intimate and personal and was officiated by her uncle Roger. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a yummy buffet at Blind Society. My Sun My Moon Photography took advantage of the filtered light and a little rain to get some amazing photos including one of my favorites of the couple releasing huge white balloons! This bride had a decor eye and rented a super fun backdrop as well as included 12- 36” white balloons in her reception decor. Guest favors included super cute dog treats and bandanas as a shout out to their two pups! Two things I need to mention…her boys were some of the most well behaved and polite kids that I have met and I have to give a shout to Jimmy, the bride’s grandma’s significant other. Not only did he help set-up, he ushered, he took lots of great photos, and he kept me smiling all night long! Thanks, Jimmy!! All in all, it was a beautiful day celebrating the joining of an awesome couple into a family! Persevereance and love will always be on my mind when I think of Destinee and Adam and their boys.

Eve and jarrod’s

wedDing

Eve and Jarrod contacted me about 8 weeks before their wedding for help with final details as well as day of coordination for their wedding in the midst of COVID. They had already reduced their guest list dramatically and were very conscientious of all possible measures to ensure their guests were as safe as possible! One benefit of a wedding in COVID times was the generosity of the Marriott Grand and the opportunity to move their reception from the beautiful Statler Ballroom to the breathtaking Crystal Ballroom! If you’ve never had the pleasure, this ballroom is one of the most beautiful indoor venues in the City of St. Louis! The beauty of the space however was made only brighter by this gorgeous bride! Eve had worked very hard on all of her decor, and everything from the ceremony florals to the very striking centerpieces, was beautiful! The flower girl and ring bearer, niece and nephew of the bride, were the absolute sweetest pair! I will never forget this ceremony which included a touching addition of handheld vows by this new family of 5! Guests were served an amazing seated meal with some awesome service provided by the Marriott staff and then danced the night away with music by Complete! I must say that I also made a new friend in the lovely and very talented photographer, Brenah, also from Complete! I love when my path unexpectedly crosses with so many talented people and I can’t wait to work with her in the future! So thankful to be a part of this bright spot in the middle of such dark times. I have no doubt that this family of 5 will bring lots of love and happiness to the world and so grateful to be a small part of it!

Maddie and casey’s

weddiNg

Maddie and Casey started their planning while out of town and continued planning during the pandemic! However, they did an amazing job taking it all in stride and rolling with the craziness of the times! Their smiles and easy going nature were infectious and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the planning process with them! Maddie and her ladies arrived to Neo looking amazing following their hair and makeup session with Little Blue Pin at Midtown Makeup and Hair. Their wedding and reception were both held at Neo, which is a very cool industrial space in downtown St. Louis. The super sweet February ceremony officiated by Uncle Chris included a sand ceremony and went straight into cocktail hour! The bridal party braved the 20 degree weather to get some awesome photos courtesy of Love & Life photography, including a snowy but unforgettable rooftop sunset pose of the new couple! Guest enjoyed an awesome buffet by Catering By The Christy and yummy cake courtesy of Federhofers! Huge shout out to Cole Coleman of House DJ who not only worked the ceremony and reception music but also helped with the ceremony live stream! Would definitely recommend him to any of my couples! I cannot leave out the surprise wrestling match that ensued courtesy of Maddie’s dad as a tribute to their days watching WWE when Maddie was a kid! To say it was entertaining, is definitely an understatement! All the smiles continued all night long with this couple and their guests… I left with a smile on my face and as I write this, I’m still smiling! So blessed to be a part of this couple’s big day!!

Maggie & Mike’s

wedding

Maggie and Mike were one of the most organized couples with whom I have worked! Not only were they organized but also super fun! Their ceremony was a traditional Catholic ceremony with decor accents of red and white courtesy of gorgeous arrangements from Schnucks and pretty pew bouquets at St. Paul’s Catholic Church! Maggie looked beautiful, thanks in part to Emily Miller (hair and makeup) walking down the aisle in a satin mermaid style gown! The sweet ceremony had some of the best ceremony music I have heard! The weather was cooperative with a threat of rain but we were prepared with plenty of clear umbrellas for photos with George Street photo and it didn’t rain a drop! The party bus, courtesy of All About You Limos, departed for pics at multiple stops including Nick’s Pub and finally Majorette, where guests were enjoying cocktail hour! Orlando’s provided some yummy food (loved those honey carrots) while Elite Pro DJs kept the party going! Special shout out to Deidre from Majorette, who couldn’t have been sweeter and who was a master behind the bar! Can’t wait to work with her and her staff again in the future! Maggie and Mike danced the night away and continued the party in the super fun downstairs lounge late night style with their very fun wedding party! Favorite touches from this night were definitely the marquis LOVE decor, signature cocktails, and the many smiles as a fun time was had by all! Thanks to Maggie and Mike for allowing me to a part of this super fun day! It was certainly my sincere honor!

Lauren and Josh’s

Wedding

This adorable couple started planning their St. Louis wedding two years prior to their wedding date from out of town! Lauren had a clear vision of all of her details and this DIY bride had everything ready including her ceremony draping! After some last minute ceremony site changes due to COVID, I think their choice of 612 North was just perfect! Lauren and her bridal party enjoyed some prewedding fun at a super cute Air BnB in St. Louis! From the first look to the end of the reception, the entire day was documented in gorgeous photos from Ryanne O Photography! Ryanne certainly outdid herself with these photos and Lauren and Josh seriously killed it with their model like images! Lauren was a beautiful bride and her gorgeous wedding party complimented her in their neutral dresses! Lauren and Josh’s ceremony was super sweet and officiated by friend of the family and very funny BJ Lang! The neon sign at the guest book table was one of my favorite touches along with the cereal bar and donut display at the reception! Orlando’s did a lovely job of hosting the breakfast for dinner reception and 50 miles entertainment kept the guests out on the dance floor all night long! All in all, a beautiful day, beautiful couple, and an honor to be a small part of this day that will live in their memories as one of the best days ever! Thanks again, Lauren and Josh, and thank you for your service to our country!

Allison & Matt’s

wedding

Allison and Matt’s vision for their big day was to host their friends and family on their property for an intimate ceremony and reception! I was thrilled to collaborate with fellow planner and friend, Margaret, to help make this vision a reality! This couple spent a lot of time building their own decor including my favorite, wooden lanterns! Allison loved flowers but didn’t have a large bridal party and opted to order her own flowers with Margaret and I arranging! May in St. Louis can be extremely unpredictable for outdoor weddings but thankfully, Allison and Matt had a large tent rented which ended up working beautifully for the ceremony which was then flipped to the reception space during cocktail hour as just a light rain fell which only means good luck to this very endearing couple! Allison looked beautiful walking down the aisle to “I get to love you” by Ruelle with their puppy rocking the flower girl role! The ceremony was short and sweet with plenty of time for gorgeous shots with Casey Pierce, their photographer, as the rain held off! Complete did an awesome job providing music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception! Cocktail hour included the cutest charcuterie cups along with bar service provided by The Wandering Sidecar Bar-the most adorable bar trailer I have ever seen! Nagel’s BBQ was super tasty and their staff was awesome! Guests had fun snapping memories for the couple with Polaroids for the guest book and snacking on yummy cake from McArthurs. As the sun set, the candlelit glow inside the tent was just so pretty. Like many of the couples that got married during the pandemic, Allison and Matt endured lots of stress and unknowns but I just know that this couple grew stronger together and Margaret and I couldn’t have been happier to get this couple married and off to a lifetime of happiness together! Thanks for entrusting us with your big day!

Ashley & Bryan’s

wedding

I had an instant connection with Ashley as she and several of her bridesmaids were fellow Occupational Therapists! I was lucky to have my fellow planner, Margaret, as lead planner on this wedding as this weekend followed 3 straight Saturdays of weddings! Ashley and Bryan were local to Columbia, IL and wanted to get married at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with a reception to follow at Turner Hall in Columbia! This was the largest wedding I had been a part of since COVID began and it went off without a hitch! Ashley and Bryan were incredibly calm, cool, and collected throughout the stressful planning impacted by the pandemic. As their big day began, Ashley and her girls were transformed by the stylists of Miss Middy’s in Waterloo who did an amazing job on their hair and makeup! Curt Simshauser caught every moment from getting ready to ending the night on the dance floor and I can’t wait to see those photos! Ashley looked simply gorgeous walking down the aisle to Bryan! The traditional Catholic ceremony was just perfect with Ashley and Bryan exiting the church through a sea of bubbles! StL Road Pony was right on time and transported the bridal party to some local favorite spots for photos ending at Turner Hall for a grand introduction by Porta Party DJs. Guests signed the coolest whiskey barrel top as a nod to their roots in Kentucky. Barb and her staff from BK design and Kelsey Lynn Events transformed Turner Hall into a beautiful reception site where guests enjoyed some of the best fried chicken around! Dinner was only topped by cake from Twice as Nice Bakery and a scrumptious dessert display! This crowd knew how to party and the dance floor was packed all night long! What a fun night celebrating such a great couple! So thankful Ashley and Bryan put their trust in us to coordinate their big day! It was definitely our pleasure!

samantha & Ryan’s

Vow renewal

Samantha and Ryan were a picture of patience as COVID had rescheduled their wedding celebration more than once over the past year. They had welcomed a sweet baby girl just weeks before their long awaited vow renewal and she added an unforgettable element to their big day! This couple was so calm and composed navigating the stress of wedding and reception with the needs of a newborn. As a mom of three children myself, I had nothing but admiration for this mom and dad who worked together seamlessly as a team to put the needs of this sweet babe over their own on such a special day. Boone Monument Village was the perfect spot for this weekend with a small group of their closest friends and family. If you have never been, you must check it out! This beautiful “Village” offers many unique glamping options including tepees, a historical school house, and small cabins. The barn and large patio are a perfect spot for an intimate ceremony/reception complete with a bell ringing to signal the marriage of its couples. There are several picture perfect spots on the property for beautiful photos and this reception was capped off by a spectacular fireworks show captured by Angellica Photography! DJ Services for both the ceremony and reception were provided by 50 Miles Entertainment. To say it was my honor to be a part of this sweet day would be an understatement. Thank you Sam and Ryan for showing me that patience and love trumps all and when you work as a team (especially as a mom and dad), anything is possible!

Samantha & Alex’s

wedding

This couple also navigated the reschedule of their wedding due to COVID, requiring them to find not only alternate dates but also an alternate ceremony venue. However, the change in ceremony venue to Piper Palm House, couldn’t have worked out better. It is a gorgeous greenhouse in the middle of Tower Grove Park and is simply beautiful requiring no additional decor! Samantha and her bridesmaids looked amazing, thanks in part to Nikki Creacy Hair Design and Makeup! The reception was held at a very cool spot in St. Louis City, Jefferson Underground. If you are looking for a large industrial type space with an awesome patio, this is your spot! A freight elevator delivered guests to the top of the building into a multi room space complete with vintage structures including an old truck where DJ Connection setup and had the dance floor on the patio packed all night! The venue provides beautiful 20 foot wood topped guest tables where Sam and Alex’s guests enjoyed yummy food provided by Sugarfire! So many great shots were provided by Abby Gillardi photography including the super unique cannoli and coffee station, which was a nod to Alex’s NJ roots! I would be amiss if I didn’t mention the huge chalkboards throughout Jefferson Underground with some awesome chalk art provided by a local St. Louis artist. Pretzels were a perfect evening snack and guests left with full bellies and awesome memories of an amazing day celebrating this super fun couple! Meeting and working with couples, visiting so many amazing venues, and providing assistance to allow a day to run smoothly are just some of the reasons I love planning and coordinating weddings…when all of these things come together to create a unique experience celebrating what makes each couple special-that’s what I love the most! This was certainly a memorable day for Sam and Alex and their guests and I am so grateful that I could be a small part of it.

Joanna & Avery’s

wedding

Joanna and Avery, along with the help of Joanna’s mom, navigated their wedding planning from out of state, which is never an easy feat! Joanna’s mom, Marilyn, also happened to be a very talented florist and put together all of the beautiful florals for the ceremony and reception at Boo Cat Club! If you have never been to this gem of a historic venue off of Delmar, you must check it out! The Catacombs has to be one of the prettiest indoor ceremony options in the City and big shout out to Jess, Boo Cat venue manager, and her staff who were all amazing! To say that this team of vendors were simply the best, would be an understatement! Joanna and Avery were super excited about the food at their reception and Seed, Sprout, Spoon delivered with some of the yummiest stations I have ever seen! They also provided beautiful china to add to the vintage feel of this event! As mentioned, toasts always get me and I definitely shed a tear listening to the sincere words provided by their Best Man and Maid of Honor. After guests had enjoyed all of the great food and toasts, they were treated to music from Patrick Lentz Band and, let me tell you, they had the crowd on the dance floor all night! The stage at Boo Cat is just perfect for a multi piece band and this band was SO great! Special shout out to Maddy Bratcher for some of the most gorgeous images of this couple with Studio 703 providing hair and makeup. Maddy was also super sweet and very easy to work with! Highly recommend!! Dessert was provided by Made by Lia and the cake was super pretty! The night ended with a super fun sparkler send off which was the perfect ending for this adorable couple! My heart was definitely happy at the end of this wedding and I was so grateful and honored to be a small piece of the amazing team who worked so hard to make this day special for Joanna and Avery!

Kat & Tom’s

weddiNg

I was super excited to have randomly been given the opportunity to coordinate two weddings back to back at The Missouri History Museum! This was my first time working an event at The History Museum and shamefully even visiting this beautiful (and free) St. Louis gem! I was also super excited to work with Salt and Smoke for both of these weddings and they were amazing! Little did I know that I would also meet a fellow planner (who is quickly also becoming a friend) in venue coordinator Becca, who went above and beyond for both of these couples! Anyway, enough about me…. back to Kat and Tom! This couple was from St. Louis but life had settled them out of state so they were also planning their wedding from long distance. Kat was super organized and needed little direction with her details, all of which were so well done! Their colors of navy and green, were a nod to their alma mater and her classic but beautiful florals provided by Walter Knoll in whites with greenery were a perfect addition! The Catholic ceremony held at Immacolata was simply beautiful and couldn’t have been nicer! The bridal party boarded a party bus provided by Perfect Touch for photos around St. Louis with Rebecca Nicole Photography! Setup of The History Museum was super easy thanks to lighting by Exclusive Events and centerpieces by Walter Knoll as well as the amazing crew from Salt and Smoke! The evening commenced with a super yummy buffet thanks to Salt and Smoke and music by Elite Pro DJ! This couple was just the picture of cool, calm, and classy throughout the entire evening! What a perfect evening celebrating Kat and Tom! Thankful for the opportunity to help make this day amazing!

FranCis & Lili’s

Wedding

The Missouri History Museum was the setting for this international wedding and reception which unfortunately had been majorly impacted by COVID. Lili’s family was unable to travel to the US but WERE able to be part of this special day thanks to Richard from 50 Miles Entertainment who went above and beyond to loop in her family via Zoom! I can’t say enough about the effort Richard put in to make this happen and I know it meant the world to this couple! The ceremony was beautifully officiated by a very well spoken friend of the couple and the bridal party looked great in their tuxes and coral dresses with florals provided by Always in Bloom.. The History Museum looked beautiful as photographed by Lisa Meyer Photography and the gorgeous uplighting provided just perfect ambiance for cocktail hour and dinner provided by Salt and Smoke. Huge shout out to Salt and Smoke and all of their staff! They were all so awesome to work with! The evening continued with some touching toasts from near and far including an original song performed by the groom’s family! Lili and Francis awed the crowd with a beautifully choreographed first dance which was just perfection! Guests enjoyed cake provided by Cake House and made their mark in the Polaroid guest book. I think I will always remember the touching moments provided by both families of the bride and groom from near and far, as well as the sweet calmness of this couple. I couldn’t be more grateful to be a small part of such and important day in their lives!

Jackie and Zach’s

Wedding

I had the pleasure of coordinating Jackie and Zach’s wedding and reception thanks to a referral from her sister whose wedding I coordinated last February! This couple was really hoping to provide a super fun day for their guests and they certainly succeeded! Unfortunately, the May weather didn’t cooperate with their hopes of a rooftop reception at Paddy O’s but Chris and his staff did an amazing job moving the reception indoors! Loews Hotel provided the intimate setting this couple was hoping for as their ceremony space. The bridal party looked classic and beautiful thanks to Emily Hille (stylist) in their full length black dresses and the guys handsome in their black ties and white button downs. After a touching ceremony officiated by the bride’s uncle Chris, which included the groom’s adorable daughter, guests kicked off the evening with a champagne toast and drinks on The Bullock. Then the real party started…brass band, golf carts, and umbrellas paraded down the street from Loews to Paddy O’s! After the bridal party was announced, Jackie’s parents surprised the 200+ guests with a drag queen performance which none will soon forget! Guests enjoyed some yummy eats provided by Paddy O’s and some of the best wedding reception music ever from the house DJ’s of Paddy O’s! This reception was mostly cocktail style with some reserved tables which looked beautiful candlelit accented with eucalyptus and I can’t forget to mention the neon sign… I just love a good neon sign! All photo credit goes to Sarah at Simple Slate Photography-she was super sweet and appears to really enjoy helping her clients capture the sweetest memories of such an important day. There were so many highlights to this exciting day which kept me on my toes but most important was that Jackie and Zach had nothing but amazing moments to remember and I sincerely hope that looking back, they remember so many sweet memories! Congratulations to this beautiful couple and their new family! Thanks for letting me be a small part of such a big day!

James and madison’s

Wedding

I’m always super humbled when another vendor refers me to one of their clients… besides client referrals and sweet reviews, it is one of the highest compliments I can receive! This is how I became the coordinator for Madison and James! Thank you to Salt and Smoke for sending me this adorable couple and their sweet family! It just so happened that we discovered several ties down the road (that’s St. Louis for you) but without Salt and Smoke making the connection, our paths wouldn’t have crossed! Anyway, on to the couple… Madison and James, with the help of her mom, Mary, were in the midst of planning a ceremony and reception at Neo when I first met them. They were from St. Louis but had both moved away and were planning all of this from a distance, booking Neo sight unseen! It was important to the couple to celebrate James and his family’s Korean heritage as they wanted to include a Paebek (Korean Tea Ceremony). Honestly, I love when couples add in details that celebrate what makes each person and couple special! Their day started with hair and makeup courtesy of the stylists of Emily Miller and rolled right into First Look at the Jewell Box where they got engaged with photos to follow at Forest Park with Logan Armstrong and Videography by Mason Arledge (all photo cred above goes to Logan)! It was a bit overcast (perfect for photos) and just a little drizzly but the rain held off! Following photos, Madison and James arrived at Neo to get dressed for the Paebek and then on to a quick change for the ceremony officiated by Pastor Ron Sweet! Quick shout out to pianist Aaron Latina and DJ Ryan Sarvak for covering music and sound! Flowers and the arbor decor were beautiful thanks to Michele Sweet! Following ceremony, guests headed upstairs for cocktail hour which rolled right into reception. The staff from Salt and Smoke were amazing, as always, and the food was super yummy! The cake, courtesy of McArthurs, was beautiful and the Ted Drewes was a guest favorite! One more shout out to Ryan… the dance floor was absolutely rocking all night long! Madison and James ended the night with a sparkler send off to a surprise limo ride to their hotel (thanks to mom and dad). I know this is long but I just want to say how sweet this family was to work with…Your love for each other is very apparent! This vendor team was also incredible! Thanks for making the entire day amazing for Madison and James! So grateful to be a small part of this big day!

christina & steven’s

Wedding

Christina and Steve found me through The Knot but crazy enough we figured out that we had some interesting ties (thank you, St. Louis)! Christina had a great eye for design and a clear vision of what she had hoped for on her big day! Together with Bloomin’ Buckets, they designed some tropical inspired, gorgeous centerpieces and bouquets in whites, fuschias, and purples for the ceremony at Epiphany Lutheran and reception at Missouri Athletic Club Downtown. Christina looked beautiful on her big day thanks to the stylists of Jennifer Smith MUAH and White Traditions! Her ladies were dressed in emerald green dresses and the guys looked sharp in black tuxes! One quick note, the mother of the bride, Toni, looked stunning in her fuschia dress! I just had to note this, as this was the first time I have seen a MOB in a bright color and she absolutely killed it! Transportation to the ceremony was a team effort, with guests shuttled from their hotel courtesy of the MAC shuttle, bridal party picked up by STL Road Pony, and Christina chauffeured by Pete The Driver. I’m going to pause for a moment because this September weekend happened to be a crazy busy weekend downtown with Taste of St. Louis, a Joyce Meyers Convention, and two major highway closures. We had prepared all the vendors earlier in the week and that morning and, for the most part, everything ran super smoothly! However, one hiccup of the second round of guest pickups due to the extreme traffic, pushed ceremony start time much later than expected. Sometimes no matter how much you plan or communicate, some things are just out of your control. I do want to note that Christina and Steven were a picture of calm and composure! Back to the wedding… this amazing vendor team including photographer Emily with Your Story, the team at Epiphany including Pastor Tim, the awesome ladies from Bloomin’ Buckets, and videography by Millennium all worked seamlessly to get this day back on timeline following the beautiful ceremony! The bridal party jumped on the party bus for some quick park photos and headed back to MAC to get some pics in before cocktail hour. Huge shout out to MAC staff who were so awesome to work with and worked incredibly hard to ensure that everything was just perfect! The 200+ guests began downstairs for cocktail hour with drinks and apps and then headed upstairs for some incredible food courtesy of the MAC chefs. The cake was beautiful and went hand in hand with their orchid theme. KC Flo, courtesy of Patrick Lentz Entertainment, had the dance floor packed following cake cutting, toasts, and first dances! I have to mention one of my favorite details of this reception was the live cigar roller, who rolled 100 cigars for guests on the spot! Such a fun detail which guests won’t soon forget! This couple really went above and beyond to plan such a wonderful evening for their guests and it was certainly an unforgettable day for all but, most importantly, Christina and Steve! Their fun, outgoing personalities were such a delight and accentuated by the sweet hugs and kind words as I left at the end of the evening. So grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of this gorgeous day!

Jameson and olivia’s

Wedding

Olivia and Jameson booked me approximately 6 months prior to their October wedding through The Knot! Their vision included a church ceremony with a laid back reception at the beautiful Cedar Creek in New Haven, MO. Salt and Smoke were already on board with catering and they had a friend, James, who was also a DJ with DJ Shark Attack. After some consideration, they ended up opting to move their ceremony from their St. Louis church to a church in Washington only 20 minutes from the reception to reduce travel and time between for their guests, which worked out perfectly! Pastor Josh, from their church, presided over this sweet ceremony with Pastor Kurt, from St. Peter’s, onsite to assist! Ladies looked beautiful in their sage green dresses and gorgeous hair and makeup courtesy of Amy Furuto and guys handsome in their gray suits! Olivia was the picture of beauty and calm as she walked down the aisle with her mom at her side. Following this touching ceremony, guests showered the couple in dried eucalyptus as they exited towards their cool classic car on the way to the Cedar Creek for more photos with Jordan Rae photography! Jordan worked very hard to get all of the beautiful photos above plus so many more (minus the table shots from this inexperienced photographer 😊)! iOlivia and Jameson’s vision for their reception included four long rows (approx. 40 feet) of tables with eucalyptus garland down the middle which looked beautiful accentuated with floating candles! Cedar Creek staff were ready for guest arrival and Salt and Smoke rocked it again with their yummy food, buffet style! Olivia and Jameson chose to serve rolls to thank all their guests for coming and provided guests with donuts for dessert in addition to very cute playing cards as take home gifts. All the ingredients for S’more’s were provided, in a custom S’mores box made by Jameson, for late night snacks made over the bonfire lit outside. Guests left their well wishes to the couple by highlighting their favorite Bible verses in their Bible and James kept the guests entertained on the dance floor all night long! Olivia and Jameson were such a great team throughout the planning process, which I am sure will follow them into marriage! I have to mention that in addition to planning, Olivia was also running her business, Teleo, an adorable coffee shop in Kirkwood, which is no small feat! Their cool, calm, laid back personalities were so easy to work with! I am always in constant awe of the amazing people that God brings into my life and this couple was no exception! It was very much my pleasure to help bring their wedding vision to life. So incredibly thankful to have been given the opportunity to work with them!

Niki & cody’s

Wedding

I couldn’t have been more grateful to meet Niki and Cody through The Knot about 10 months prior to their wedding. Niki was looking for a day of coordinator to ensure her big day would run smoothly and I was super excited for the opportunity! Niki has a huge family which also includes her beautiful sisters who were members of her wedding party and happen to use power wheelchairs to assist them with their mobility. I was super excited to put my OT hat on as well as my wedding planning experience to make this flow as smoothly as possible for Niki, Cody, her sisters and all of their guests! November weddings in St. Louis are typically closer to fall in temps than in winter but, to everyone’s surprise, snow was on the ground that morning in parts of the area, including 4 inches outside my door! I was so worried about what how this may factor in to their day but as I drove over the bridge into Missouri, the snow was gone!! SO crazy! Their beautiful day started with hair and makeup thanks to Brooke Mulholland and Studio Bride. The bridal party made their way to St. Bridget of Kildare for the Catholic ceremony with lovely music provided by Landolfi! The ladies were so pretty in their deep red velvet dresses and made their way down the aisle accompanied by several super cute flower girls and ring bearers. Niki looked beautiful and Cody was beaming as she walked down the aisle with her dad. Following the ceremony, Niki and Cody greeted guests as they exited and even got a fun confetti pic after a few family photos! Alex Narduli captured all the moments for them as they snuck away to Forest Park, where they got engaged, for some newlywed photos! Niki and Cody opted for faux florals and, if you are looking for a great vendor in this area, the husband and wife team at Autumn Narrative would be top of my list! So super easy to work with, very sweet, and they did such a nice job! Guests headed to the reception for cocktail hour at Maison Du Lac catered by Ces and Judy’s. Quick shout out to Jessie and Ruth, venue manager and catering manager, who were super organized and very on top of layout and setup! The food, served buffet style, was super yummy and the 16 foot dessert bar provided by Niki’s family as a nod to their Croatian roots, was unbelievable! The DJ, from Millenium Productions, did a nice job mixing in some traditional Croatian dance music with the wedding reception music that we know and love and I truly enjoyed watching all the family and friends rock the tradition dances with such pure joy on their faces! Guests were seated at tables identified by cities that were near and dear to Niki and Cody and enjoyed a traditional Croatian cookie and thank you to take home! I can’t forget the adorable neon signs and super cute photo station, which added such great detail! My take away from this wedding was the love and dedication of family, from Cody’s sweet mom to Niki’s mom, dad and family. Niki and Cody were super calm and patient throughout the busy day and I have no doubt that this family will be such a great support for them! Just a reminder that all you need is love and I loved being a small part of this couple’s big day!

Kara and Adam’s

Wedding

Kara contacted me about 6 weeks prior to their big day! She had everything planned, all her vendors booked, and was really just looking for someone to help organize the day so they didn’t have to worry about a thing! I just happened to be available and was so happy that I could help! One thing I won’t soon forget about this couple, is their dedication to each other and their tenacity when challenges almost curbed their planning and put their wedding on hold. Wedding planning can be a stressful time but within that time life still happens, much like marriage, but teamwork and love prevail! Their day started with hair and makeup with Emrita Konjevic at a beautiful Air BnB in the City. Kara looked gorgeous in her beaded gown and ladies very pretty in their fitted gowns! This couple (and many of the bridal party) happened to be fellow Mizzou alums, which is always fun for me as my alma mater holds a special place in my heart! M-I-Z! Rebecca Stephenson was onsite for some gorgeous photos and was also super sweet to work with! Platinum Limousines provided party bus transportation following the first look at the Air BnB to some fun photo spots including inside the City Library on a brisk yet sunny day! Ceremony and reception both took place in the historic Das Bevo, which looked very pretty thanks to fall florals from Petaled Pail. This was my first time at Das Bevo and I do need to mention how awesome Brenden and their staff was-so nice and they worked so hard to ensure the event ran smoothly! Greg, their officiant and family member, did a great job with their short but very sweet ceremony accompanied by music provided by Landolfi and sound by DJ Connection! Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails while the space was partially flipped to reception. Videography and Photo Booth for this wedding were provided by Complete, who were also super accommodating and great to work with! Guests enjoyed a buffet dinner provided by in house catering and cake by Kelly Tribaut! Toasts were super sweet and very touching and led right into cake cutting and dances! Guests danced the night away thanks again to the awesome DJ from DJ Connection! Kara and Adam, I certainly hope that your day was everything you hoped it would be! It was certainly my pleasure to be a small part of it!

Holley and Matt’s

Wedding

Holley happened to be a bridesmaid of a previous CS client, who so very kindly sent her our way in the midst of planning her Spring wedding in St. Louis. As it turns out, their wedding day happened to fall on my daughter’s 14th birthday… there aren’t many dates I will pass on, if available, however, my kiddo’s birthdays are top priority in my mom life. I was super excited that Becca, a very talented planner/coordinator, happened to be available and I was thrilled that Holley and Matt would be in super capable hands. If rain is good luck on your wedding day, then Holley and Matt are the luckiest bride and groom! They weathered the storm with rain, hail and tornado warnings, but that didn't stop everyone from having the best time. The ceremony took place at Central Presbyterian Church where Holley and Matt said their vows and did a beautiful ceremonial feet washing. Jordan of Jordan Rae Photography snuck in the most beautiful pics right before the storm arrived and WOW, she did such an amazing job! The reception continued the day at The Boundary, part of the historic Cheshire Inn. Holley and Matt added personal touches to their day with a guest book for people to sign including watercolors of historic places in St. Louis, amazing music by Complete Weddings, and stunning custom florals by Bloomin' Buckets. Their night was certainly unforgettable. So grateful to be a small part of it!

Maria and Tanner’s

Wedding

This full planning adventure started a short 10 months before they wanted to get married! Both Tanner and Maria had envisioned a May wedding and both really wanted that rustic vibe, so we set out to find the perfect venue! Pine Hollow, just outside Eureka, checked all of their boxes but, as most savvy planners will understand, they did have to settle for a Friday date! Tanner and Maria were exceptionally calm and laid back during the entire process, with very few details rattling their composure! Luck would have it that one of my favorite photographers happened to be available and all of the gorgeous images above are courtesy of Abigail Derrick! She is also super chill and, along with Brittani of Pine Hollow and the catering team of Mosaic, our vendor crew rolled with the punches of moving an outdoor ceremony inside with the help of some super strong groomsmen and ushers! Rain could not dampen the day of this gorgeous and super sweet couple-and let’s be honest, fun clear umbrellas always make rain better! Shout out to HMUAs Natalie Deutman, Katie Diestelkamp, and Nikki Sampson, all of the ladies looked amazing in their sage green dresses with guys equally as handsome in their black tuxes! Florals by Savvy Floral couldn’t have been more beautiful… and that arbor was perfect! The ceremony was short and sweet, officiated by Rev. Roma (fun fact…this minister married my husband and I 21 years ago). Cocktail hour, with the most adorable signature drinks named after their fur babies, and reception rolled right along with bar service by Champagne Wishes and some delicious food for the 250 guests courtesy of Mosaic. Guests enjoyed yummy cake by McArthurs and were treated to music of a country/rock coverband, Gusto! Shout out to Fete Booth for an awesome greenery wall highlighted with a super cute neon-they really do such a great job with setup and take down of their backdrops! Another quick shout out to the groom’s mom who was the picture of organization during this planning process! This couple… so calm and so composed! If rain brings good luck on a wedding, I have a feeling that their marriage will be a picture of luck and love! I have truly enjoyed all of the planning to make this day the best for them! So grateful for the opportunity!

Allie and Sam’s

Wedding

Allie and Sam contacted me about 6 weeks prior to their wedding day! Allie, a fellow OT, and I seemed to click right away and I was super excited to help them get their final details wrapped! I was also very much looking forward to returning to the beautiful MO History Museum with an outdoor ceremony on the steps and an indoor cocktail hour and reception. Their big day started as planned with HMU provided by Looks by Lisa and everything running according to timeline with first look at Forest Park where they exchanged personal vows! With threat of a thunderstorm in the forecast the party bus, provided by BEST, stayed very close by which turned out to be a lifesaver as the storm rolled in quickly! Huge shout out to Sarah Corbett and her partner who got some of the best shots right before the storm! Needless to say, our amazing vendor team, moved quickly to setup the ceremony indoors in prep for a quick flip to reception during cocktail hour! The space looked gorgeous with a hand built chuppah, courtesy of the groom, and Allie’s vision of a summer garden theme with the most gorgeous florals courtesy of Sisters Floral. Russo’s provided an exceptional seated dinner and truly outdid themselves with a “hostess” groom’s cake. If you are looking for a super fun DJ team, I would definitely recommend Intrepid as they were some of the best DJs with whom I have worked!! My favorite memory from this wedding… the horah dances….they brought the biggest smile to my face and tears to my eyes as the joy in the room was palpable. Just so happened that the sky cleared for some fun “sunset” photos complete with a touch of rainbow, which was the perfect ending! This couple… so calm and composed… rolled with the unexpected and it turned into such a beautiful day that they won’t ever forget and I won’t either! Thank you for allowing me to observe the joy and be a small part!

Leah and Brandon’s

Wedding

Leah and Brandon found CS on The Knot and booked almost a full year prior to their June wedding at Innsbrook! On a follow up call about halfway through planning, we realized that she worked in the same office as my husband-such a small world! Their vision for an outdoor service with indoor reception onsite at Innsbrook quickly came together thanks to some really great vendors including Innsbrook, Celeste Beauty Bar, Block Rockin’ Beats DJ, and flowers by Mary Mueller (Aunt Mary)! All photo credit goes to the talented Mersiha Vita who produced some incredible photos. Oh, and the video by Mason J Films, brought tears to my eyes. So incredibly talented!! Innsbrook is a whole destination with homes onsite to rent and a beautiful lake which was the backdrop for the gorgeous ceremony! Huge shout out to Innsbrook’s awesome staff who had a backup indoor ceremony setup all ready to go just in case it decided to rain! The bridal party processed down the most dramatic pathway along with Leah, who looked super gorgeous in her strapless gown! Favorite memory from this ceremony was definitely the personal vows which were very touching and super sweet! Guests made their way back to the lodge via golf carts for cocktail hour and enjoyed a seated dinner reception with some very tasty food prepared by the Innsbrook chefs! Tom at Block Rockin’ Beats did an amazing job of keeping the party going on the dance floor! I truly enjoyed meeting Leah and Brandon’s families who were all so sweet and helpful! All in all, a gorgeous day, beautiful couple, great venue, and unforgettable memories made! So incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help with this amazing day!

Cassidy and Robert’s

Wedding

On a warm September day, I had the distinct pleasure of coordinating a truly farm to table wedding experience! Cassidy and Rob booked CS a full 18 months prior to their wedding date and found me thanks to The Knot! Cassidy, who works as a dietician, and her husband live on a family hay farm just south of St. Louis. Their vision was to not only host their wedding and reception on their property, but to also grow and raise all of their food and flowers, creating a very unique experience for them and their guests. Anyone who has farmed, raised chickens, or even just hosted an event on personal property knows that this is not a small feat. With so many factors involved, it can get very overwhelming but they were up for the challenge! Not only did they host but they constructed a very large high tunnel greenhouse structure which will be used for various purposes in the future! Jackie Price, owner of Fennel, a local catering company, prepared the 100 chickens, and homegrown veggies as well as sourced local breads and created a truly lovely meal! Unfortunately, Cassidy’s vision of homegrown wildflowers did not come to fruition, thanks to the deer who preferred to snack on her flowers instead. However, a local Flower farm, Wheels to Fields, saved the day! If you haven’t checked out their farm in Eureka, you absolutely should!! Huge shout out to Judge Williams and Josh Brickey who made such a perfect photography and videography team! They were cool, calm, and collected the entire day even when the temps were hot!! STL Brightside provided AV along with acoustic guitar for the short and sweet ceremony and then rocked the dance floor with awesome covers all night long! When you host a wedding on property, everything is brought in… including the bathrooms! Let me tell you, if you need a bathroom trailer, call Posh Event Cottages! The nicest bathroom trailer I have ever seen!! Grand events did an awesome job with all the other rentals too! Special touches for this wedding included a homemade cake by the mother of the bride with edible flowers, personalized pint glasses for every guest, and super fun yard games for guests to enjoy! I absolutely have to mention the bride’s friend, Abi Hagan, who was instrumental in assisting Cassidy with some of the planning pieces that go along with a complicated event! She truly rocked the wedding software, Aisle Planner, and utilized it to it’s full extent! This wedding was truly a labor of love which won’t be soon forgotten! Thanks for allowing me to be a small part!

Tori and Daniel’s

Wedding

The highest compliment I can receive is when I receive a referral from a previous couple…but when it is the sister of a previous bride, my heart absolutely swells! Tori and her mom reached out to me last fall to let me know that she would be getting married just over a year after her big sister celebrated her wedding! Since wedding planning was so fresh, and her sister was now a pro, Tori had already secured many of her vendors but was hoping for assistance with coordination and did have some questions along the way! Tori and Daniel chose Silver Oaks Chateau for their ceremony and reception venue. It was my first time experiencing this beautiful venue and it did not disappoint! Huge shout out to the amazing venue manager, Paula, who was such a help in every aspect! I also had the pleasure of working back to back weekends with the incredible catering team from Russo’s! From their staff to their food and their cakes, they do such an amazing job for their couples! The stylists of Looks by Lisa were onsite and ready to work their magic with hair and makeup to compliment the classic black dresses and tuxes. Tori had a vision for lots of classic touches using Baby’s Breath and classic white and black which Michelle from Sweet Flower Girl brought to life! The gorgeous pics are courtesy of Sara Reed Studios and it is always a great time working with Mason Arledge, videographer! The super sweet outdoor ceremony was officiated by Pastor Jon with only one hiccup…a brave bridesmaid getting stung by a wasp which she bravely fished out of the communion cup to spare the bride and groom! Luckily, Paula was prepared with a sting kit, which I have now added to my wedding bag for future! Ray, from Set 2 Music Entertainment, seamlessly provided AV, music for cocktail hour, and kept the dance floor packed all night long! The evening concluded with a super cute outfit change by the gorgeous bride and a fun bubble send off to a getaway car provided by my favorite, Pete The Driver! This couple was so laid back and fun and were able to just enjoy all the moments of this lovely day! I simply love working with this family and, although Madison and Tori are the only girls, I hope to see them again in the future! Thanks for allowing me to help make this day special! SO grateful to be a part of it! !

Ashley and Rene’s

Vow renewal

Ashley’s mom, Sharon, reached out to me following a referral from her friend who happened to be the mother of two of my past brides! Her daughter had recently moved to Copenhagen to marry the love of her life and Sharon was helping them plan a vow renewal and reception in St. Louis at Bogey Hills Country Club! Ashley and Rene wanted to keep things simple and beautiful for this international affair! I was thrilled to work with Becca from Rebecca Nicole Photography who produced some of the most beautiful images of this gorgeous day! Since this was a vow renewal, the couple did not want a first look and finished getting ready together after hair and makeup provided by Studio Bride! The florists from Secret Gardeners created a beautiful mantle display as well as table decor in beautiful whites and greens! Ashley and Rene headed outside for photos and the November colors provided such a pretty backdrop to the pristine landscape at Bogey Hills! The sweet ceremony officiated by a friend of the couple led right into cocktail hour including a seamless room flip by the very organized venue manager Shannon and The Bogey Hills staff! DJ Benji, from Millenium, didn’t miss a beat providing all of the music for the ceremony, cocktail, and reception! Speeches were given in both German and English and guests from enjoyed a super yummy buffet meal provided by Bogey Hills, desserts by BeBe Liz, and a very fun Photo Booth with white floral backdrop by Fete! All in all, this day which was shared by family and friends from near and far and was full of love! It reminded me that simple can be so beautiful and if you live in the moments, they create the most amazing memories! So grateful my path crossed with this sweet family and thankful for another opportunity to coordinate a beautiful day!

Allie and Nick’s

Wedding

Another sweet referral from a previous couple resulted in coordination of Allie and Nick’s big day! Allie and Nick’s vision included a Catholic ceremony at St. Gabriel and a super fun reception at Neo! They had an amazing vendor team chosen and just needed some help with final details of timeline and seating, which is always made easier with Aisle Planner! The beautiful day started with hair and makeup provided by Libby’s Blowtique at the Chase! They preferred not to have a first look so the party bus picked up the ladies and looped back to the guys just in time for the ceremony! I have to mention that a wedding at St. Gabriel included the sweetest ceremony coordinator! He was one of the kindest gentleman I have had the pleasure of working with and truly enjoys helping couples down the aisle! Allie looked gorgeous in her satin, off the shoulder gown and Nick super handsome in his tux!! The beautiful Catholic ceremony included a full mass but was right on time! Following pictures with the awesome photographers from Shadow and Light, the party bus departed with some fun stops before pulling up to Neo! This was not my first time at Neo but it was my last as this unique venue was sold at the end of 2023. While pictures were going on, the team from Favazza’s, Alpha Lit, Floral Occasions STL and I had the room looking beautiful and ready for them and their guests! A choreographed first dance kicked off the night followed by a buffet courtesy of Favazza’s and cake by McArthur’s! Huge shout out to A Rockin’ DJ Jimmy Hussey who was so great to work with and kept the dance floor rocking all night long! Guests enjoyed a St. Louis tradition, Imo’s, for a yummy late night snack before ending the night! Allie and Nick definitely incorporated their St. Louis roots in their day and I loved it was a perfect reflection of them! Such a pleasure working with this awesome couple and thie families! All the best in this adventure of life!

Clare and Matthew’s

Wedding

Clare and Matthew booked me almost a year from their wedding date and found me on The Knot! Their vision for a beautiful December wedding right before Christmas with a Catholic ceremony at St. Genevieve Du Bois and reception at the MAC was certainly on point! Clare had a lot of her vendors already booked and was super organized but just needed help as the date drew near to tie up some final details! Her classic black and white theme was beautiful with all of the holiday decor already at the church and the MAC! Definitely a benefit of a winter wedding! Clare and her bridal party enjoyed the morning with hair and makeup with the HMUA of Libby’s Blowtique. We made sure to build some time in for cute pics with their sweet puppy, Craig!! All photo credit goes to Emily Chowning, who did such an amazing job all day! The full mass went off without a hitch and the bridal party headed out to Forest Park for pics on their party bus, courtesy of STL Road Pony! The MAC was beautiful, thanks in part to the gorgeous flowers provided by Bloomin’ Buckets! Clare and Matthew enjoyed their dinner while guests enjoyed cocktail hour so they were ready to greet their guests and dance the night away! KC Flo kept guests dancing all night long-such an exceptional band and guests enjoyed some yummy cake (beautiful as well) from Sarah’s Cake Shop! One of my favorite details, the adorable mini trees and stockings Clare prepared as escort cards! The party kept on going after the reception with Pretzel Boys and Biggies in the Jack Buck Room as a late night snack! It truly was such a beautiful winter day filled with the joy of the season and I am truly grateful I could be a small part of it! All the best on your new adventures as husband and wife!
