Hi, my name is Jocelyn and I am the owner of Charming Soirees! I am a certified event planner and have been planning events big and small since high school! From weddings to birthday parties and reunions as well as parties to celebrate everything in between, I have designed, planned, and overseen them all.
ALMA MATER: MIZZOU (GO TIGERS 💛) & LUTHERAN SOUTH
I grew up here in St. Louis, planning my first events for my high school class while attending Lutheran South. I was blessed to work for the Special Business District in Kirkwood throughout high school assisting with planning and organizing a variety of events including my favorite, Santa's arrival! Following high school, I attended Mizzou where I planned several philanthropic events for the 200 ladies of my sorority as well as campus wide for various organizations including Mizzou Homecoming! I graduated in 2002 with a degree in Occupational Therapy, hoping I could combine my creativity and passion for helping people. Over the past several years, I have worked in a range of settings as an Occupational Therapist and have planned a variety of events on the side but have always felt like something was missing. I began to realize that I was happiest when I was creating, planning, and organizing so I pursued and received my certification in event and wedding planning and I'm so excited to pursue my true passion!
MY PEOPLE:
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 21 years and would describe myself as a Pinterest loving, people pleasing, mom of 3.
MY MANTRA: BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING
My career goal: Create Happiness! On the weekends you can find me on the baseball field, basketball court, gymnastics floor, or soccer field cheering on my kiddos or browsing through Hobby Lobby to figure out my next project.
MY PASSION: EVENT PLANNING
My personal goal is simple; to help you create, design, and bring your event to life. Thanks for stopping by my site and checking it out! I would be personally honored to help you with your next event!
